About us
The Foundation “Senza Frontiere”, constituted legally in 1998 as
organization no profit but existing as Group from 1973, is born with the
aim to collect the necessary to support economically social projects of
solidarity in favor of children and community in difficult.
The Foundation headquarter is located inside a suggesting property, with
a splendid park spread over a 58.000 square metres rich of tipical
animals and plants, located just few minuts walking from the center of
the village of Castel Goffredo.
Castel Goffredo is a small village and it belong to the administration
of the city of Mantova. It’s located in the probably nicest part of
North Italy, rich of rivers, hills, lakes and very close to high snowing
mountais and very important historical cities like Mantova, Verona and
Cremona.
Thanks to the contribution of friends and benefactors, the Foundation
was able to support a lot of humanitarian help projects in many parts of
the world like Brazil, New Papua Guinea, Indonesia, Venezuela, Nepal,
Cile, Uganda, Ruanda. In this countries the Foundation has started and
actually carry on projects with the aim to grow the culture of people
and the development.
We believe that
a) To teach it means growth indipendent
persons, and also promote the transfer of knowledge and know is
fundamental at all levels of help and solidarity. The principle aim of
the all projects is to teach and to specialize the young people so they,
in the future, can and should be indipendent and also could help to
develop in a usefull way their community
b) We believe in autonomy, not in hierarchy:
all our projects are directly managed by native persons where the
project is located and they feel completely part of project and not
slaves of an outside mechanism.
c) To live with the necessary and the curiosity are our
main lifestyle concepts: all the approaches with the local populations
are runned in a very simple way and with respect for the native
cultures, conscious that the learning and the process of knowledge are
not one way processes but always bidirectional process. Every time
differents cultures get in touch there is a feed back of knowledge .
d) Childrens are the future of the world; childrens are
the future of our planet and for that reasons they are the preferred
destination of our projects. A child who develops a knowledge, a child
who learns, in the future will be more and more free and less and less
slave.
